Wimmer Werk Motorsport to race in the TCR European Endurance in 2025

As the start of the 2025 season approaches, Wimmer Werk Motorsport has officially confirmed its entry in the TCR European Endurance. With just four weeks remaining until the first race, the grid continues to expand, and the Austrian team is set to join the challenge with two Cupra Leon TCR cars. Competing in both the DSG and Overall classes, with two car belonging to a different category with a sequential and DSG gearbox, Wimmer Werk Motorsport will bring its experience to the series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero.

The team, founded and managed by the Wimmer brothers, Felix and Max, is no stranger to the world of TCR racing, having previously competed in the Italian, German and Eastern European championships, where they always proved to be competitive and up for the challenge. Moreover, they can also rely on the knowledge gained by participating in various GT and prototype programs, such as the Ultimate Cup Championship and GT4 Germany.

Since 2015, the year Wimmer Werk Motorsport began racing, Felix and Max have consistently embraced new challenges, and their debut in the TCR European Endurance will be thrilling to witness. The season will start on March 30 in Mugello, followed by the second round on June 8 at the Slovakiaring. The third race will be hosted by the Pannonia-Ring, another new track as the series only debuted in 2024. After last year’s successes, the paddock will return in Vallelunga, on September 21, before concluding the season in Misano, on November 15.
