Texaco Team AMS announces their first drivers for the 2025 Season

After announcing their return for the 2025 TCR European Endurance season, reigning teams’ champions TEXACO Team AMS have confirmed two of their drivers that will be partaking in the series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero this year. The Turkish outfit, which swept the competition in 2024 as they took home all four titles up for grabs, is set to come back to the series with two cars – a Gen-1 entry and and DSG piece of machinery.

The first driver fielded by TEXACO Team AMS will be Sinan Çiftçi. The Turkish driver made his TCR European Endurance debut late last year, when he partook in the final round of the season around Misano, taking home an impressive class victory. In the Gen1 category, the experienced 39-year-old driver Sinan Çiftçi, who is the 2018 and 2021 Turkey Caterham Cup Champion and won the Gen1 class by attending in the TCR European Endurance Misano final race last season, will be representing the team. In the DSG category, 21-year-old young driver Berk Kalpaklıoğlu, who made the transition from karting to cars this year, will be joining the team. The team’s second drivers will be confirmed next week.

The action is set to begin in Mugello, where TCR European Endurance will get the ball rolling from the 28th to the 30th of March.

Sinan Çiftçi
“I can’t wait to race once again in TCR European Endurance. I had a great time when I made my debut last year in Misano, as we took the Gen-1 class win; this season I am hungry for even more success together with TEXACO Team AMS.”

Berk Kalpaklıoğlu
“It’s a great opportunity for me to race in TCR European Endurance this season, and I want to thank TEXACO Team AMS for believing in me. I learned a lot during my time on the karting scene, and I’m excited to drive such a powerful car on some of the best tracks in the world.”
