The inaugural and historic season of the TCR European Endurance is set to conclude at the Misano World Circuit. Initially scheduled at the Slovakiaring, the series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero has decided to return to Romagna for the second time, following the splendid night race held in June for the 2024 title.
Many of the classifications have already declared their winners: the TEXACO Team AMS dominated the Team standings, while the pair made up of Ibrahim Okyay/Seda Kaçan claimed the top spot in the DSG class. In the category reserved to Gen1 cars, Barkin Pinar/Zekai Özen are in first place. However, everything is still to be decided for the Overall standings: Turgut Konukoglu/Eric Brigliadori currently have 123 points thanks to their victories obtained on the Balaton Park and Vallelunga circuits. The pairs formed by Barkin Pinar/Zekai Özen and Ibrahim Okyay/Seda Kaçan complete an all-exclusive podium for TEXACO Team AMS. Finally, Sandro Pelatti (winner of the last race held at Misano with Franco Girolami) is also still in contention for the title with 85 points. The winners’ trophies and the Racing Spirit awards, partners of TCR European Endurance this season, will therefore be awarded.
The final round of the season will begin with the first free practice sessions scheduled for Friday, November 8th, 2024, at 10:55 and 14:55 local time respectively. The same evening, qualifying will also take place at 18:00, consisting of two 15-minute sessions each. The following day, Saturday, November 9th, the circuit named after Marco Simoncelli will put an end to the first season of the TCR European Endurance with the two stages of the race lasting 55 minutes plus one lap, the first at 9:00 and the second at 17:35, when the sun will have given way to the shadows of the night. The two stages of the race will be broadcast live on the TCR TV YouTube channel, with commentary by Stefano Russo.
