Riza international unveils 2027 calendar for TCR European Endurance

With the season finale of both TCR European Endurance and GTC Endurance Challenge behind the corner, series promoter Riza International is already looking ahead. After opting for a joint campaign this year, the two championship will continue to do so in 2027, across a calendar that features seasoned racetracks and four different countries, for what promises to be a sensational season.

The first half of next season will feature two tracks that have become a staple on the series’ calendars. The two championships are set to kick off next year on the very circuit where they will finish the current one: Misano. The Italian venue named after the late Marco Simoncelli has been the season finale of TCR European Endurance since 2024, and will be hosting GTC Endurance Challenge for the very first time in just a couple of weeks, for the much anticipated final round of the season. The 2027 campaign will therefore start on March 21st at the Misano World Circuit, before moving to another well-known stop on the two series’ calendar. The two championship will move to Slovakia to race at the Slovakiaring, which will host round two on June 6th; The 5.9-kilometre circuit is no stranger to both TCR European Endurance and GTC Endurance Challenge, having been on the calendar of the former since its very beginning, and having produced amazing racing this year for the latter’s debut on it.

On the other hand, the second part of 2027 is set to bring TCR European Endurance and GTC Endurance Challenge to two new countries. First up will be the Czech Republic, as the Autodrom Brno will host round number three of the season. The 5.4-kilometre circuit was originally supposed to feature on the 2024 TCR European Endurance calendar, but that eventually did not materialise; three years later, the series will make its debut on the Czech track on September 5th, together with GTC Endurance Challenge. Last but not least, the two series will wrap things up in France, as the Circuit Paul Ricard is scheduled to host the season finale on November 14th. The circuit in Le Castellet has proven to be excellent for both multi-class racing and late-season events, as it has provided great racing even with colder temperatures in recent times. This makes it the perfect venue for the very final race of 2027.

For the first time in either championship, the full season will be contested in four different countries, highlighting the series’ appeal after what can already be described as a very successful 2026 campaign, which will see its grand finale in Misano on November 15th.

Mauricio Slaviero
“Looking at the 2027 calendar, I am very excited for the future of both TCR European Endurance and GTC Endurance Challenge. On one hand, we are delighted to be going back to both Misano and the Slovakiaring, while it is also fantastic to see two new circuits such as Brno and Le Castellet be included in our 2027 schedule. These are four well-renowned tracks and we are very excited to visit them next year.”
