The final round of the 2025 TCR European Endurance season, which is set to take place in Misano from November 14 to November 15, will see a new team make their debut in the series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero. Renauer Motorsport is in fact going to join the grid for the season finale, with Bernhard Stitz at the wheel of the team’s Hyundai Elantra N TCR.
Founded in 1997 by former Formula 3 driver Sepp Renauer, the Austrian outfit has already left its mark on the motor racing scene; their DNA is embedded in endurance racing, too, as the team enjoyed their first batch of success in the 2001 FIA Sportscar Championship. The early years of the 21st century saw Renauer Motorsport become a staple in youth development, partaking in single-seater championships with Tim and Eddy Revazov – a pair of Russian brothers with no prior motorsport experience who ultimately competed against names of the highest caliber such as Robert Kubica, Romain Grosjean, José Maria López and Alessandro Pier Guidi. Since then, the team has continued its successful journey, now boasting victories and great achievements in series such as Nascar Whelen Euro Series and FIA F4 CEZ.
In 2024, Renauer Motorsport embarked on a new journey, partaking in the Touring Car Open (TCO) and racing in the Histo Cup. Venturing into uncharted territory, they displayed their prowess in adapting to new racing conditions, immediately fighting for wins and collecting multiple podium finishes. In their TCR European Endurance debut, the team will entrust its Hyundai Elantra N TCR to Bernhard Stitz, as the Austrian veteran looks to become the first driver from his country to race in the series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero.
The fourth and final race of the season will see TCR European Endurance hit the Misano World Circuit, as the Italian track hosts the 2025 season finale from the 14th to the 15th of November.
