Interest is growing for the second season of the TCR European Endurance. After announcing the full calendar, with the Pannonia-Ring joining as the third round in 2025, another team is beginning to aim for the series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero. This is MM Motorsport, a prestigious team on the Italian scene. With over 15 years of experience both nationally and in Europe, particularly in the world of touring cars, MM Motorsport boasts 4 titles in the Italian Touring Cup – won in 2015, 2016, 2020, and 2022 – and successes in the TCR Italy, narrowly missing the overall title multiple times.
They have an important pedigree in TCR, also thanks to the collaboration with JAS Motorsport since 2017, a benchmark team in the preparation of the Honda Civic TCR. With the presence of MM Motorsport in the next season, the TCR European Endurance would see the debut of a new manufacturer that will join Audi, Cupra and VW already present in the inaugural season.
Numerous top-level drivers have represented the colors of MM Motorsport over the years, some of them are already familiar faces within the TCR European Endurance, such as Franco Girolami (winner of the third round with Sandro Pelatti) and Davide Nardilli (winner in the DSG class in the last round with Alessandro Lisi). Moreover, since 2021, MM Motorsport has developed its own Driving Academy, where drivers can reach their full potential: Paolo Rocca became the first to win a title coming from the Academy, thanks to the triumph in the 2022 Italian Touring Cup.
The TCR European Endurance could therefore be the right stage to see young drivers in action, alongside the more experienced, thanks to its format with driver changes. Certainly, with the experience of MM Motorsport, the level of the championship would be raised even further.
