With only two weeks to go until the final round of the TCR European Endurance at Misano World Circuit, Faro Racing has announced its plans to double its involvement in the series. After their debut in the DSG class, where they won during the summer in Misano, Fabrizio Tablò’s team will field two Volkswagen Golf TCR.
This win, achieved through TCR’s multi champion Stefano Comini’s return together with Ottavio Cappelli, earned the team 31 points in the championship. Faro Racing has also been able to satisfy the increased demand for participation by fielding a second car, adding even more competition in the category.
The Misano schedule will feature two free practice sessions on Friday, November 8, followed by the qualifying round which will take place at night. On Saturday, November 9, Stage-1 will start, with the season’s final race concluding under the night lights. Therefore, the first TCR European Endurance champions will be crowned.
Mauricio Slaviero, TCR European Endurance Promoter
“I am very pleased to welcome Faro Racing’s second entry in the TCR European Endurance. This further demonstrates the success of the format we’ve chosen for this series. A team that joined mid season believes so much in our project that they decided to double their entry. We hope this will encourage more teams and drivers to join the series and experience what we have to offer”.
