BF Motorsport: from title contenders to Championship leaders

With the first half of the 2026 TCR European Endurance season now in the books, BF Motorsport is establishing itself as one of the leading teams in the championship promoted by RIZA International. After the opening two rounds at Vallelunga and the Slovakiaring, the Italian squad leads the Team standings with 120 points, holding a three-point advantage over TEXACO Team AMS and a more substantial margin over Wimmer Werk Motorsport, currently third with 82 points. The strength of the project is also reflected in the Drivers’ standings, where the pairing of Alessandro Lisi and Alessandro Berton, selected by BF Motorsport for the 2026 season, leads the championship thanks to two consistently strong performances. The representatives of the Romagna-based team finished second in both of the opening rounds, scoring the points that have taken them to the top of the standings and confirming the competitiveness of the technical package provided by the team.

The result is the product of teamwork and a family history built on passion, expertise and a competitive spirit. BF Motorsport represents one of the most authentic expressions of Romagna’s motorsport tradition, developed around the figure of Imerio Brigliadori, the team’s founder and driving force. Drawing on years of experience in touring car racing and the meticulous craftsmanship applied to every technical detail, the team has built a solid reputation, becoming a consistent presence at the front of the TCR categories. The squad’s growth is not the result of an isolated breakthrough, but rather of a path developed with consistency. In 2025, BF Motorsport was already fighting for the title right through to the final round of the season, finishing among the championship’s leading contenders after a campaign characterised by remarkable consistency. That season further established the competitiveness of the team and laid the foundations for its current leadership in 2026.

The Brigliadori family perfectly embodies the racing spirit that defines BF Motorsport. Racing is a true family tradition, experienced both in the workshop and on the track. Eric Brigliadori wrote an important chapter in the history of the championship by winning the inaugural TCR European Endurance title in 2024 with TEXACO Team AMS. The following season, he chose to temporarily put his helmet aside to support the family project, also working as a mechanic during the first part of the year before returning to the wheel towards the end of the season alongside his brother Yuri. Another key element behind the Italian team’s growth has been the technical continuity of its project. BF Motorsport has chosen to build its experience around the Audi RS3 LMS TCR over the years, developing a wealth of knowledge that now represents one of the squad’s main strengths. Its in-depth understanding of the Four Rings’ car, combined with the experience gained in endurance racing, has enabled the team to maximise performance, reliability and strategic management, all crucial factors in a championship where every point can make the difference.

With two rounds still to be contested, BF Motorsport enters the decisive phase of the season knowing it can rely on an established structure, a family tradition deeply rooted in motorsport and a technical philosophy that has remained consistent over time. The next challenge will come at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, where the team will be called upon to defend its lead in both the Team and Drivers’ standings. For Alessandro Lisi and Alessandro Berton, the goal will be to turn the consistency shown during the first half of the season into their first victory of the year, a result that could prove to be a turning point in the pursuit of the title that BF Motorsport is determined to claim after narrowly missing out on it last season.
