As announced earlier in January, TEXACO Team AMS will be on the starting grid for the new TCR European Endurance season. The Turkish team has competed in every season of the series promoted by RIZA International since its inception in 2024, dominating the inaugural season and securing second place in the team standings in 2025.
It was just last year that young talent Berk Kalpaklıoğlu made his debut in the series in the DSG category, finishing fourth overall and becoming the Junior Trophy champion, a title dedicated to Under-21 drivers. The Turkish driver competed in all four rounds of the 2025 season, scoring a total of 133 points in the general standings. For the 2026 season, Kalpaklıoğlu is set to change categories: moving from DSG to Gen1, where a new challenge awaits him.
With the support of TEXACO Team AMS, Berk is now preparing to hit the track on April 19th at the Vallelunga circuit. He will then head to the Slovakiaring on June 7th, before concluding the season in Valencia on September 27th and at the “Marco Simoncelli” circuit in Misano on November 15th.
