Anticipation is building for the crowning of the first ever TCR European Endurance champions

The final round of the first ever TCR European Endurance season is just around the corner. The first absolute champions of the series will be crowned at Misano circuit. Four crews are still mathematically in contention for the title.

Following the announcement of a change to the final round, which will now take place on November 8-9, 2024, each team are eager to get back on track and finish the season in style at the circuit named after Marco Simoncelli. This circuit has already hosted the penultimate round, featuring the first ever night race for the TCR European Endurance.

While the Team, DSG, and Gen1 classifications have already been decided after the third round – with TEXACO Team AMS winning them all – the overall classification is still wide open. Seven drivers from four teams will be battling it out until the checkered flag: Turgut Konukoglu and Eric Brigliadori lead the standings with 123 points, thanks to their victories in the first two rounds of the season; Barkin Pinar/Zekai Özen (Gen1 champions) and Íbrahim Okyay/Seda Kaçan (DSG champions) complete the podium for TEXACO Team AMS with 102 and 95 points respectively; Sandro Pelatti – winner of the third round at Misano with Franco Girolami – still has a chance of the title with 85 points.

With 40 points for the winners and additional points for qualifying, everything is still to play for heading into the final round on the 4.2 km circuit that borders the Adriatic Sea.
