Sandro Pelatti (Audi RS3) – PMA Motorsport was the fastest in the second – and last – free practice session of the TCR European Endurance in Vallelunga during the second round of the 2024 season. The new entry of the series took the top of the timing sheets during the last five minutes of the session with a lap of 1:42.406, followed by Konukoglu/Brigliadori (Audi RS3) – TEXACO Team AMS and Fossati/Barberi (Audi RS3) – FOX Racing Team – separated by only half a second.
Fourth, dividing the new generation cars from the DSG ones, was the pair of Pinar/Ozen (Audi RS3 Gen1) – TEXACO Team AMS. First in the DSG class was the home favorite Paolino/Rodio (Cupra DSG) – RC Motorsport, only half a second faster than the brothers Adriano and Claudio Gentili (Cupra DSG) – Brothers in Arms. Seventh were Okyay/Kacan (Audi RS3 DSG) – TEXACO Team AMS.
The race direction is already busy checking the track-limits, which will be an important setback in the qualifying sessions scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday May 18th at 12:10. The race will go underway for its first stage at 15:20, while the second one – which will see the winner of the Vallelunga round of the TCR European Endurance – is scheduled for Sunday, May 19th at 11:30.
