Filippo Barberi is the latest name added to the list of riders who will take part in the second round of the TCR European Endurance. On home soil, the Italian squad is growing, and Barberi adds his name to the list of seven participants already announced previously. The 18-year-old Venetian joins Tommaso Fossati in the Fox Racing Team at the wheel of the Audi RS3 in Vallelunga, a track which saw him making his debut at the wheel of a car with a sequential gearbox in 2023.
Barberi, already a protagonist in the Coppa Italia Turismo, TCR Italy and TCR DSG, will thus make his debut in the series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero in the first continental Endurance series for TCR cars in the second of the four events scheduled for the 2024 season. After the debuting in Balaton Park Circuit, the Vallelunga Autodrome will thus be the scene of the second round of the season for an exciting weekend of racing.
