TCR European Endurance introduces new trophies for 2024

The new TCR European Endurance Championship reveals some news for the 2024 season. The competition will see the introduction of three new trophies, in order to increase the excitement on the track and give all drivers the chance to compete for important positions.

The first of the added classes is the “Ladies”: a category exclusively dedicated to female drivers. This is an important initiative by the championship, aiming to increase the presence of women on the track. Furthermore, it has been introduced the second class reserved for all drivers who are over 50 years old, called “Gentleman”. This category allows those who belong to it to compete with drivers of the same experience and abilities.

Finally, there will be the “Junior” category, for all drivers under 21 years old. This trophy is essential to highlight the names of the future, allowing them to gain confidence and fight for victory at the same time. These three new trophies will be added to the previously announced: the TCR (the overall ranking), TCR DSG, and TCR Gen I, for a total of six trophies to be awarded at the end of the four championship races.

All eyes are now on April 28th to find out who will be the winner of the first round of the TCR European Endurance, on the brand-new track of Balaton Park, in Hungary.
