The newly crowned 2026 TCR Italy DSG champion will have the opportunity to compete on the international TCR stage in the TCR European Endurance. Francesco Miotto will take part in the season finale of the series promoted by RIZA International at Misano, with his race entry fees covered by WSC Group as part of its partnership with ACI Sport.
The opportunity is one of the initiatives included in the strengthened agreement between WSC and ACI Sport for TCR Italy. Among the prizes awarded to the protagonists of the 2026 season, the DSG champion is entitled to compete in the Italian round of the TCR European Endurance, with the entry fee and tyres covered by WSC Group.
Miotto mathematically secured the DSG title with one race remaining at the fifth round of the season, held at Misano, driving the Planet Motorsport Audi RS3 LMS. The Veneto-based driver dominated the category throughout the season, taking pole position at all five rounds held up to that point and winning nine of the first ten races. He clinched the title with 462 points, finishing 115 points clear of his teammate Daniele Verrocchio, who has already competed in the RIZA International continental series.
Miotto’s participation in the TCR European Endurance will therefore represent a new experience in the TCR world, this time within the series’ distinctive endurance format. The Misano event, scheduled for November 15, will be the fourth and final round of the 2026 season, with the titles to be decided over two 55-minute races. The final classification will be determined by the combined results of the two races.
For the Italian DSG champion, it will be an opportunity to compete on a European stage and further expand his experience behind the wheel of a TCR car, in a weekend that will bring the third season of the TCR European Endurance to a close.
