TCR European Endurance ready to crown its 2025 champions in Misano

The 2025 TCR European Endurance season is ready to come to a close, as the Misano World Circuit hosts the series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero for the fourth and final round of the year. With all titles yet to be taken home, the on-track action promises to be as entertaining as ever, with teams and drivers eager to claim the overall and class honours.

After becoming the theatre of the final two rounds in 2024, the Misano World Circuit has once again been selected as the venue for the season finale of the championship. Just like last season, when TEXACO Team AMS took home all titles up for grabs, the final race will close the curtains on the 2025 campaign under the floodlights, as drivers are set to race into the night in what will be a thrilling final race. The 4.2-kilometre circuit has become a staple on the TCR European Endurance calendar, attracting plenty of teams and fans alike.

With everything still to play for in the standings, teams will be on the lookout for a standout performance to clinch their respective titles. A three-way fight for the overall standings sees Yuri Brigliadori (Audi RS3 LMS), Senna Summerbell (Cupra Leon DSG) and Scalvini/Tavano (Cupra Leon Competicion) covered by just nine points. The latter pair is also leading the Gen-2 standings, while the DSG and Gen-1 classes see Summerbell and Çiftçi/Okyay (Audi RS3 Gen-1) in front respectively.

The entry list for the final round of the season sees 17 drivers ready to take on the challenging Italian racetrack. Wimmer Werk Motorsport confirms its two pairs, with Summerbell/Issa and Scalvini/Tavano determined to secure at least one title for the Austrian team. BF Motorsport will try to stop them in the overall standings with Yuri Brigliadori. The Italian is set to race together with his brother Eric; the 2024 overall champion will therefore make his comeback in the series, after supporting Yuri from the pit wall this season. Tuder Motorsport also confirms its two DSG entries, with Damante/Maccari (Audi RS3 DSG) and brothers Alessio and Alessandro Alcidi (VW Golf DSG), the latter pair sharing the same car for the first time this season after being rivals throughout the year. TEXACO Team AMS, the team that swept all titles the last time TCR European Endurance came to Misano, will try to go back to back in the Gen-1 class with Çiftçi/Okyay, with Kalpaklıoğlu/Göktaş (Audi RS3 DSG) also out on track.

The season finale is also set to see two new entries compared to round three in Vallelunga. After competing in the opening race of the season in Mugello, Faro Racing is joining the TCR European Endurance grid once more, partaking in the finale with Leonardo Cuppari and Roberto Armogida (VW Golf DSG). The former had already raced in Mugello back in March, while the latter, who has gathered valuable experience in a variety of championships in the last few years, is set to make his debut in the series. On the other hand, Renauer Motorsport makes its first appearance in the championship, as Bernhard Stitz will be behind the wheel of the team’s Hyundai Elantra N in Misano.

For the final round of the season, free practice will be split in four shorter sessions. The first two segments, both lasting 20 minutes, will begin on Friday 14 November at 10:45 and 11:10 local time respectively. Later during the day, the 25-minute session is set to take place at 13:35 local time, with the last portion following at 14:05 local time. An action-packed Friday will see qualifying take place too, with the usual two sessions beginning at 17:50 and 18:15 local time. Both stages will take place on Saturday 15 November, with Stage-1 starting at 9:00 local time and Stage-2 at 17:45 local time. The two stages that will crown the 2025 TCR European Endurance champions will once again be broadcast live on TCR TV’s official YouTube Channel, with Daniele Spadi on commentary duties.
