Yuri Brigliadori (Audi RS3 LMS) retains championship lead ahead of season finale

With round three of the 2025 TCR European Endurance season now over, the championship fight is as intense as it’s ever been. The penultimate race of this year’s campaign, held at Vallelunga, saw Scalvini/Tavano (Cupra Leon Competicion) take home their maiden win, thus reigniting their championship hopes ahead of the season finale in Misano.

However, it is Yuri Brigliadori (Audi RS3 LMS) who leads the way after Vallelunga. The Italian has retained first place in the championship, a position he had taken after round two at the Slovakiaring, and is now leading with 136 points. Second place belongs to Senna Summerbell (Cupra Leon DSG): the Jamaican, who took a surprise overall win in Slovakia last June, is just six points off the lead. Scalvini/Tavano are in third with 127 points – nine less than Brigliadori – thanks to their win in Vallelunga. The Wimmer Werk Motorsport pair also took advantage of the rule that sees each driver discard their worst result from the first three races, further reducing the gap to the top of the standings. Fourth is Brigliadori’s teammate Alessandro Alcidi (Audi RS3 LMS), sitting with 122 points to his name. Çiftçi/Okyay (Audi RS3 Gen-1) are also in the mix, as they are currently in fifth with 104 points, 32 less than Brigliadori. The TEXACO Team AMS duo is also the Gen-1 leading pair after the first three rounds, having taken the class win in every race so far.

The standings reserved to the Gen-2 cars sees Scalvini/Tavano in the lead with 154 points, 14 more than Yuri Brigliadori, who sits in second; third is Alessandro Alcidi, with 125 points to his name. Looking at the DSG standings, the fight for the title is set to go down to the very final race. Senna Summerbell leads the way with 158 points – the maximum amount a driver can score in two rounds – thanks to his flawless performances in the first half of the season. However, Damante/Maccari (Audi RS3 DSG) are just 18 points adrift, following their perfect weekend in Vallelunga. Alessandro Alcidi and Luca Giovannoni (VW Golf DSG) are in third with 127 points each, 31 less than leader Summerbell. Berk Kalpaklıoğlu (Audi RS3 DSG) is still mathematically within striking distance, too: the Turkish driver, who took a season-best second in Vallelunga in the DSG class, is sitting in fourth with 106 points, 52 behind the leader.

The 2025 TCR European Endurance season finale is set to take place in Misano, as the Italian circuit will be hosting the championship from the 14th tothe 16th of November, with the final race of the year ready to crown the series’ new champions.
