PMA Motorsport is ready to fight against the champions of TEXACO Team AMS, winners in the inaugural season of the TCR European Endurance. The Italian team fields an Audi RS3 TCR with sequential gearbox, aiming for the overall ranking. Founded in 2009, the Modena-based team immediately became reference point in the Clio Cup Italia and in 2019 made its debut in TCR Italy, one of the most competitive national championships in the touring scene. PMA Motorsport was also the only team in 2024 capable of interrupting the domination of TEXACO Team AMS, taking home the overall victory in the night round at Misano-1, with the pairing of Sandro Pelatti and Franco Girolami.
For this reason, the Italian outlet has decided to field the same pair for the 2025 season, after Pelatti made his debut on the podium at Vallelunga, while the Argentinian driver joined in Misano-1 with a winning debut. Girolami comes from three consecutive years in which he managed to top the overall rankings – TCR Europe (2022 and 2024) and TCR Italy (2023) – so he will go in pursuit of a new title to add to the showcase in the endurance series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero.
Pelatti, who is among the most experienced on the grid, also boasts a success on the national territory, especially with the Coppa Italia Turismo title won in 2023. A pair capable of finding harmony in a short time, a winning card for endurance races. The assault on the throne for Girolami-Pelatti and for PMA Motorsport will start on the Mugello circuit, next March 30, with the first round of the 2025 TCR European Endurance season.
