After winning all four titles up for grabs in last year’s TCR European Endurance season, TEXACO Team AMS is back and hungry for even more success in 2025. The Turkish outfit will in fact be on the starting grid of the series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero this season, too, with the intention of repeating last year’s phenomenal results.
TEXACO Team AMS was in fact the dominant force of the 2024 championship, winning all but one race of the maiden season of the series. This year, the team will field two Audi TCR cars belonging to two different classes. On one hand, the return of the Gen-1 car, which took four class wins in four rounds last year; on the other hand, the Audi TCR DSG, confirming the entry that conquered the class title in 2024 thanks to two wins and a second place in the DSG category.
Though the team has not yet announced either of the two drivers’ line-ups, it goes without saying that an outfit with such a pristine track record in the series will be one of the favourites come the start of the championship. The first round of the year is scheduled to take place in Mugello, with the Italian track hosting the opening race between Friday, March 28th and Sunday, March 30th.
