Bernhard Stitz joins the 2025 TCR European Endurance grid. The Austrian 49 year old Austrian driver is set to make his debut in the continental series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero driving Renauer Motorsport’s Hyundai Elantra, a car he already had the chance to drive in 2024 TCO series.
Bernhard’s career started in rallies, in which he started racing in 2011 with the iconic Mitsubishi Evo6, as well being the last winner of the Austrian Race of Champions, held last year. His experience on rallies has been remarkable also thanks to the 4th overall position scored in the Austrian Rallye Championship, driving the new Ford Fiesta R5.
Recently, in 2020, Stitz moved on to track racing with the Formula Renault 2.0 car, one of the most difficult technical challenges for a racing driver, who has been part of many Formula 1 racing driver careers. In 2024 Berhard Stitz moved into TCR scoring some podiums with the Hyundai Elantra N TCR.
The 2025 challenge for the Austrian driver from Freistadt is around the corner who has chosen the experience of Renauer Motorsport to face the second edition of TCR European Endurance. The new pair is also the first Austrian flag entering the history of the first continental TCR endurance series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero.

“I am a person who loves challenges. My passion is rallying, but during the Covid-19 pandemic period I got to know and love the circuit. Driving a TCR car at its limit is an incredibly exciting feeling. I am enthusiastic about the TCR European Endurance because the calendar hosts beautiful tracks and it has found the missing balance between sprint format and long-distance challenges. Together with the Renauer Motorsport team we will try to keep the learning curve going upwards and we’re looking forward to an exciting season starting in a few weeks from Mugello”.
