Another important piece is added to the 2025 TCR European Endurance season with the arrival of Zeroventi Competizioni, entering with a Honda Civic FK2.
The Italian team managed by Daniele Tamborrino is the first to register a Gen1 class car for the next season, specifically the FK2 model of the Civic Type R, taking advantage of one of the many regulatory innovations introduced by TCR European Endurance in 2024: the creation of a specific classification for first-generation touring cars, homologated between 2015 and 2017. The series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero seized the opportunity in its inaugural edition, which saw TEXACO Team AMS triumph in all categories, including Gen1 with the Audi RS3 LMS.
As for Zeroventi Competizioni, the team is based in Casale Monferrato and has been present in TCR races since 2020 in Coppa Italia, initially through a collaboration and later with its own independent team. Since 2022, they have been developing their knowledge of the Honda Civic Type R, which they regularly field in races. In 2021, they also competed in endurance races in the TCR DSG Europe Endurance with Audi, establishing themselves as key contenders for podium finishes in all the events they participated in.
In 2024, the Italian team made its seasonal debut in TCR Italy at the Mugello circuit, the same track where TCR European Endurance will debut in the next season, on March 30, 2025. The Piedmont-based team is therefore the first to kick off the race for the Gen1 class title.
