Interest in the 2025 TCR European Endurance season continues to grow among teams. Faro Racing aims to reaffirm its position at the top of the DSG class, as they did in the two Misano rounds at the end of the 2024 season.
The Italian team plans to field two Volkswagen Golf DSG cars for the upcoming season, aiming for the victory in one of the most competitive classes in the series promoted by Mauricio Slaviero, specifically the one reserved for cars with DSG gearbox. The team is growing its presence, considering the winning debut with the first car last summer and the following addition of a second. But the news has not finished: Faro Racing is ready to finalize the arrival of a third car for 2025, to be fielded in the class reserved for cars with sequential gearboxes.
Following the successes achieved on the national scene, with experience in the TCR Italy and Clio Cup Italia (won in 2018 and 2022), the team led by Fabrizio Tablò – who raced in the final round of the 2024 TCR European Endurance – is expanding its horizons to international stages. After years of successful participation in the Clio Cup Europe, 2024 marked another continental seal among touring cars, in the inaugural edition of the TCR European Endurance: Faro Racing immediately managed to win the team’s debut race at Misano with a brilliant victory in the DSG class, thanks to Stefano Comini and Ottavio Cappelli. The Roman team fielded a total of four drivers in the two rounds raced, standing on the class podium with both cars also in the final round. Those two races allowed the team to prepare for what could be the assault on a prestigious continental title like that of the DSG class in the TCR European Endurance.
The chase for titles will begin for all participating teams with the first round at Mugello on March 30, 2025.
