The third round of the TCR European Endurance brought both news and surprises. PMA Motorsport took their first win of the year with Sandro Pelatti and new entry Franco Girolami, the pair leading a podium that saw for the first time three different teams represented, thanks to the second place of Barkin Pinar and Zekai Özen (Audi RS3 Gen-1) – TEXACO Team AMS and the third step of the overall podium going to the Faro Racing debutants. Ottavio Cappelli and Stefano Comini also won in the DSG class with their Volkswagen Golf, in a race, the penultimate of the year, which also delivered the first titles of 2024.
While the retirement of Eric Brigliadori, who shares the cockpit of his Audi RS3 with Turgut Konukoğlu, postpones the fight for the overall standings to the last round of the championship, TEXACO Team AMS has been crowned team champion, also celebrating the title of Ibrahim Okyay and Seda Kaçan in the DSG standings, and Barkin Pinar and Zekai Özen’s success among the Gen-1 cars.
